hello 2010

first of all i would just like to start by saying that the year is twenty-ten and not two-thousand-ten. why? Because the year the world ends is twenty-twelve, not two-thousand-twelve :P

Time goes fast. really fast. Im turning 20 this year. Im going to be third year college this year. i clearly remember the turn of the millenium. People cheering yet expecting the Y2K to blast us back to the stone age. Good times. paranoia.

so i guess this is the time i go back to 2009. what a year that was. I'm sure everyone goes through heart break at least once a year. But me always wanting to kick things up a notch higher than everyone else, i gave myself three. Three heart breaks. not bad huh? I hope i don't out do myself this year tho. 2009 also held some of the toughest ministry situations i've been in. Missions Team went through major changes. I studied to be a discipler but had no luck in finding a disciple. Lost my discipler too because beej went to cananda. so did jacq.

2009 wasn't all bad though. three heart breaks also means three falling in loves. hehe. For worship team, i met band 1. love you guys! we're awesome for God. I also met new friends in school. finally started getting open with people there.

had a pretty good line up of church activities. Cross Marks the Spot valentines, The Stand college camp, Leaders overnight retreat, BONKERS(!!!), tagaytay swimming at andie's, overnight tagaytay at jeff's, Not Your Ordinary Christmas play =D fun times. fun memories.

2010 is here. hello 2010. he's silent. i don't know what he's gonna bring me. more heart breaks? probably. more trials in minstry? probably. more friends? probably. more awesome memories? probably. Only God really knows. But its fun to guess.

That's one thing about being human. we get to guess because we aren't sure. God is sure. He lets us guess until we are ready to know what it is he wants us to know.

i opened 2010 by climbing a mountain. \m/ nice start. im 20 this year. better make the most of my youth. live out my last few adventures before getting caught up in the real world.

2am...gonna study filipino.

have big plans for this year. some are really big, others mababaw, but all awesome.
