Ok, so this has been my next photoshop project since the big heads thing :)). I saw it on pixeloo.blogspot.com that he takes cartoon or video game characters and redoes them with real textures and stuff. anyway you can see his work down there too.

I was inspired by him so i made a kenshin and sonic one. ONLY THE KENISHIN AND SONIC ONES ARE MADE BY ME. I know they dont really hold up but they're pretty good i think.

a quick project i did today after i got home from school :) Might try more now that i see it works :P hehehe

TGIT!

Thank God it's thursday! So class today starts at 1. end at 4-ish. My shortest school day of the week :D I have to study up for a quiz on Rizal tho. 6 Chapters. :\ Then i have to do homework later pa. This sem im having a hard time getting back into "study mode". As in last sem i was so hardcore that i would write papers a week or 2 in advance. Now i can hardly get myself to do it at all. I still do it tho. :P But yeah, im working on getting back to the "study study" matt.

At least i get to go to church later. :) youth choir is practicing so im gonna drop by. Maow and the others are watching twilight but i really have no interest in that vampire chick-flick. :)) And i dont have money :P

So my plan is do my devos after this (which i haven't done all week :(( ), then review for the quiz, try to squeeze in some HW so that later i can just hang at GCF :D sounds good huh?

I've been doing good since this weekend. I mean, nothings been bothering me besides not being able to do devos. So yeah. im :). not :D. not :|. but :). That's good enough for me :P

The Missions Team seems to be doing real well without me. and im really glad because it means the team is not dependent on one person. it's God's ministry and im really working on training up other members to lead too. It doesnt have to be "The Matt Show" in there all the time. :)) But im really glad they're holding up. Im coming ack soon.

My leave has been really good. I can feel how burned out i was before seriously. I felt like ministry was work na or something. But nowim getting back into the right perspective.:)

Sem Break

This sem break was one of the most fun breaks ive had. I guess it all started at college camp. I wasnt really sem break yet, i had finals when i came back :)). But it didnt matter. my mid was on sem break mode na! hahaha. did well in finals anyway.

Then i got to hang out at gcf like every day :D frist we were always there building the back drop for the upgrade, then we would go out to hang out and stuff. I watched Quantom with jai, jeff, maow, and strong. On the other days eric, didi, justine, andie, nats, and other people were there occassionally. Oh! and on one day we just met up and were spontanious! we tom's worlded and walked to podium and went to the YC and had a pillow fight! :)) that was me, maow, strong, sjay, jai, and didi, and justine. :D

hmmm, what else? :P Basta. It was sooooo much fun! Bonded with Strong and Jai a lot cuz they were the ones there every day too. hahaha.

And of course upgrade! :D

sorry if this blog has no details. im really tired from school but i just want to write it.

I had a dream about camp last night. I forgot something at home so i went back with like kuya api and ate chette to gcf to get it. then when we got back to camp, i rode back home again with some trucker dudes cuz i forgot something else. after that, the truckers werent going back na! :( it was the last night pa so it was all the no sleep and all bonding time. so i was stuck at home trying to find a way to get to camp, knowing that every second im away was a second lost bonding with people. stressful!!!!!!!!! O_O

I woke up this morning with these lyrics in my head

wow... i was just trying to imagine what it means to give everything for the kingdom's cause. It means giving up all that you have and all that you want for whatever it is that God has called you for. "break my heart from what breaks yours". Do you really want God to give you the burden that He feels for the lost? Do you want to feel so passionately about what is right and hate sin? It's kind of overwhelming to think about, but at the same time, if what you want is what God wants, there is no reason to hold back from giving Him your everything.

I guess this is one of those things that is scary to pray about, if you realize the weight of what the answer will be. It will be a yes. God will not say "no, you can go on wanting what you want", God will change you. He will change you to the point that you want what He wants and are willing to give up all for Him. You will say no to the things of this world and to all your dreams so that you can pursue His purpose for you.

Are you ready to do that?

Saturday to Monday (uneditted)

If you guys can see this blog, it means there's some stuff here that i only trust you guys to see that i editted out of the other entry :P I trust you enought that you won't tell anyone naman. :) happy reading!

Friday i just finished finals. I guess i was really tired cuz i didn't sleep well the whole week cuz of studying and stuff. and the fact the i slept like 2 hours on saturday night (camp) didnt help.

Saturday,
i woke up and i felt like i couldnt get out of bed. Was soooooooooo tired but i knew i had to go to church. I was helping out with the adults missions seminar. So i got there and sat with minneli, ate ces, and racky at the reg booth. I saw some of my classmates: june, kezi, michael, and kevin. They were at the messiah booth. Then later, i was assigned to handle this break out group. I had to introduce the speaker and stuff. it started late and went over-time. 40 minutes over time. I kept signaling him that time was up and he kept saying it was almost the end na. dang. 40 mins. :)) i was actually praying for patience na cuz i couldnt take it. :P But eventually it ended.

Then, i guess God answered one of my prayers. When i was in ministop with jel, aia and sjay showed up. aia was like, "matt, i have bad news" in the back of my head i knew what she was gonna say. hahaha. I was so amazed at how fast God works :P So she told me she couldnt go to the outreach na. Then later, God answered another prayer. Ate ces told me that someone donated 70 chicken joys for the outreach the net day. We had been stressing over the budget for forever na and God just answered it just like that. He's so good talaga :D

The soft launch was great. I helpped the band bring down equipment and stuff so that was fun. But yeah, im excited for upgrade na. :D After that i went to dinner with sjay, andie, and a bunch. The three of us ate at amazing cones (cuz i finally have money) hahaha. it was goooood. :D Najee was there too. we talked a bit. She taught us some mean stuff in french that we said to saki :))

I was supposed to introduce at myrna and lead the second offering. But again i couldnt get out of bed. was so tired. haha. But i forced myself cuz its for God naman. PH worked both into his sermon na so i didnt have to do them afterall. I helpped cut flyers for the upgrade tho. Then ate ces and I too ate myrna out to lunch. Ate rhods came too. We went to Mangan. It was wierd. :)) I didnt like the food much but it was ok. their iced tea actuially tasted like real tea :)) During lunch, we talked about missions i guess cuz its what we all have in common. hahaha. But yeah. we talked about how God called each of us :P MAde start thinking about what missions stuff ill be doing in the future. hehe.

Then ate ces and i went to buy materials. We bought crayons, and stuff. bought a thank you card for ate myrna. then we bought cake. haha. maaaaaaaan, i was so tired na. But to be a good boy, i went to worship AG. it was fun naman. then after that i glued all the cards for the outreach the next day.dave helpped me too. Then i sat with najee and vesper. didnt stay tho cu i was really tired na. I slept a little bit early that night cuz the outreach was finally the next day.

Monday:
I woke up early and prepared everything. last minute texts and all. everything actually went smoothly :D So the team was me, najee, ate ces, dave, tim v, jeff, mommy k, PH, ate prinstine, P Eug, Jamie, Racky, Jairah, Kim, Jon, and Strong. Wow. hahaha. the kids there were so cute :P i felt really bad for those who had to bring IVs with them. :( but yeah. Stanley was cool. hahaha. he right away attacked all of us with a godzilla toy :)) amazing. The skit went well. PH's message went well. coloring weent well. it all went well. hahaha. Jai got sick tho. but she was ok naman afterwards. It was one of the more enjoyable outreaches for me :) I guess i was just so blessed by the person who donated, mommy k, kim, and racky who did the gospel bracelets, kate and racjy who did the cards, dave who helpped me glue it, and everyone else who helped out. it just went really well :D

After that, najee and i had our date :D It was cool. We bonded for like 4 hours. hehehe. First we went to starbucks. she ordered a vanila frap and i had a mocha one. mine was bigger than her's so we said it was us. cuz of the size and color hahaha. we talked about relationships. i didnt really want to. She kinda pried about who i liked and obviously i didnt tell her. I acceidentally kinda lied by reflex that i didnt feel "that way" about her. dang. I felt bad about that but i couldnt take it back na or correct myself. I still feel bad about it. After that we went to time zone and she kicked my butt at air hockey...like always =)). we tried stacker too. then we went to toys r us and looked at barbies :))...then tom's. at tom's we saw this spidey dolls. so we tried to win them. we tried and tried. Spent 1:20 all together :)) no luck. najee was frustrated but i actually had a lot of fun doing it:D. maaaaaaan. i dunno. it was awesome. she was pretty. hahaha. then we went to the bookstore..i keep forgetting the name. :P we looked at books. and talked about stuff. yeah. after college, im probably doing something in missions. man. our lives could be drifting apart fast. i dunno. It's up to God nalang. whatever he wants. I pray about her a lot too lately. ive been praying that he'd take my feelings for her away IF she wasnt right for me. so far im still "in love" so i dunno what that means. hehehe. :X We ended up in the gcf lobby waiting for her dad. We took pics and stuff. Man. amazing day.

I guess im just so thankful to God for everything these past days. Im looking forward to what He's going to do in my life next. :D

After that we went to time zone and she kicked my butt at air hockey...like always =)). we tried stacker too. then we went to toys r us and looked at barbies :))...then tom's. at tom's we saw this spidey dolls. so we tried to win them. we tried and tried. Spent 1:20 all together :)) no luck. najee was frustrated but i actually had a lot of fun doing it:D. maaaaaaan. i dunno. it was awesome. she was pretty. hahaha. then we went to the bookstore..i keep forgetting the name. :P we looked at books. and talked about stuff. yeah. she told me she might be going to bible school after college and that i should pray for her about it. after college, im probably doing something in missions. man. our lives could be drifting apart fast. i dunno. It's up to God nalang. whatever he wants. I pray about her a lot too lately. ive been praying that he'd take my feelings for her away IF she wasnt right for me. so far im still "in love" so i dunno what that means. hehehe. :X We ended up in the gcf lobby waiting for her dad. We took pics and stuff. Man. amazing day.

I guess im just so thankful to God for everything these past days. Im looking forward to what He's going to do in my life next. :D

Greetings in our Lord Jesus Christ!

 

It is with great pleasure that I, on behalf of the GCF Youth L.I.V.E Missions Team, write to you to share one of our activities planned for this year's mission month! It is the Missions Team's mission, in honouring the Great Commission, to promote missions awareness in the youth, provide opportunities for them to be involved, and proclaim the gospel to different communities. We would like to reach out and share God's love and to develop more missions-oriented youth.

 

In line with this, we will be celebrating missions month by having an outreach in AFP Hospital this October 27, from 10:00-12:00nn. We have coordinated with KYTHE, INC., a social welfare beneficiary for children suffering from cancer. There will be 25 kids, with 25 staff – not including the 15 that would be coming from the Missions Team. KYTHE has required us to serve food from an established food caterer (such as Jollibee), and we are looking forward to two hours of really just being there with the children, spending time, talking, and doing all sorts of activities that may be windows for them to learn more about God. We have a youth pastor coming along with us to sharing the Gospel to the children and staff, as well.

 

May we request for your donations in order to fulfill the activity completely and effectively. Please help us as we aim to make our time with the children as meaningful as it could possibly be.

YeY! I get to blog! :D (well actually this is my way of prolonging finishing my paper)

Anyway, finals has been good so far :D I think im doing really well :) but actually, when im at school my mind isnt. My mind is still at church :)) I text people ever free time i have :P yeaaaaaaaah. i miss church. church fun. not just the work work work ministry part. I miss the bonding part. I guess tahts why camp was so cool. We got to bond without worrying about ministry.

My relationship with God has gotten much better.Been reading my Bible every day. Started at the begining. :D I realized today how gracious God was even when Adam and Eve sinned. God even clothed them. yeah :). been praying a lot too. the real "talking to God" prayer this time :D been committing a lot of situations to Him. Been praying for some stuff that's hard for me to pray for. but i Just want whatever His will is. so far...yeah...im the same so maybe that's His will for now :P

what else? i havent blogged na in forver.

Oh, i was reading some emal conversations i had during the summer. about the mal situation ;) hahaha. im glad im not caught up in that na. and yeah. yeah. sorry. no one gets what im talking about except najee and maybe nix. :P

OK. Lastly! i cant wait for sem break :D

Missions Outreach

I was thinking about our outreach on the 27th. It was supposed to be on the 25th, and we had like 18 volunteers na. We only needed 15. But then i found out that we moved it to the 27th so make way for the missions seminar. All of a sudden no one could make it. I think we're like 9 nalang. :(

Then i found out it was my dad who asked for it to be moved. I dunno why, but i just felt really sad about it. I actually cried about it before going to sleep. I felt like he put my project at the expense of his (the missions seminar). But, i know we're both serving God. It's not our projects, but God's projects. And i know that whoever can make it to mine are the ones that God wants to be there. I've been praying about it a lot now...i know it was just announced, and it's still on the 27th, but ive been praying about it a lot. I have to send in the names of the volunteers by tonight. they want names na. So im praying someone texts me today that they can come too. But again, it's up to God. I know GOd is also using this to build my faith in Him. If everything always went my way, i wouldnt learn to depend on Him.

So im just waiting now. Committing everything to Him because He has all the control and i have none. He can do everything and i can do nothing. Im just trusting God for the best.

Operation Compassion in Laguna

Woke up at 4:30 went to church at 5. haha. me and angel and ate cess worked in pharmacy. People would give us their perscriptions from doctors and dentists and then we would give them the medicines. the thing is, as the day went on the hand writing on the perscriptions got messier and messier! =)) but it was fun. i was super tired tho. fell asleep more than once. :P only a few pics cuz we were really busy.

last night

Last night was awesome. P&W night :D and prayer. The prayer was cool talaga.

I don't know what to say, but i just want to log about it because it was great. made me really see God and see myself in position to Him. He's so amazing and i was just overwhelmed by His greatness. He's so powerful that i shouldnt have to worry about anything. All i have to do is obey Him. God knows what is best, and He wouldnt command us to do anything that isnt what is best. So yeah. It's still scary to obey God sometimes, but thinking of God, we should not be afraid.

I have a ton of HW this week. Was supposed to do a lot today but i have lotsa meetings pala. Team heads and evangelism team. yep. :) Hopefully those go well and im able to study afterwards.

it was good to be at church today. It was kinda funny cuz Luis walked over to GCF with me and we saw SJay and Jem. :)) it was kinda wierd being with school friends and church friends at the same time, and we all knew each other. hahaha.

Didn't go to Bible study na tonight cuz i wasnt in the mood for a debate. boo. i wanted a Bible study. :P

Something a freind told me

Today, my problem was there again.  Right in front of my face.  My problem isn't what it used to be.  It used to be about me, and what was going on with me. But now, it's about ... some else. the other person.  It's not that complicated actually, it's just frusterating.  It was kinda messing with me, but i didn't think about it.  I did my best not to think about it.  Of course i couldn't pretend like it wasn't there. 

Anyway, during praise and worship, i remembered something a friend texted me when i was feeling bad.  She said, "Just keep everything focused on God, Matt.  I'm sure the complications won't seen that complicated anymore.  I'm doing the same for me. :) Good night. :)"  Focusing on God. Just changing my focus changes a lot.  I know that God has a reason that He lets everything happen.  Maybe He's teaching me a lesson through this problem.  Maybe He's teaching the other people involved a lesson too.  this person tells me this a lot.  Tells me to focus on God.  It's always a good reminder. 

Someone at camp told me during the bonfire, "Just pray about it, cause there's nothing else you can really do."  I know that that is the expected answer, but he is right.  I need to pray about it.  Pray that it won't mess me up, pray that it won't mess the other person up, and pray that it will all work out in the end. 

But we are talking about focus here.  By doing this, i am still focusing on the problem.  It's hard not to.  I just need to remember that not everything should be about this.  It should be about God. My life should be all about God, and what he wants for me.

I've been thinking about all the band practice and missions team work i've been doing lately.  It's al for Him.  All for God.  That's why i do it, even though i'm tired.  Even though i don't wanna practice anymore or tutor anymore. God gave me all these talents, and it's only right that i give it back to Him.

To the people who texted me and told me those things up there, thanks.  You guys know who you are.  Thank you so much for being there.  i know we don't talk much, but you mean a lot to me as friends.  Hope we can bond more in the future. :D  I thank God for blessings like you.

I wanna...have fun again. I hope tomorrow will be fun. I really hope so.

At school

Just finished a filipino quiz. It was..ok...hahaha. At least its done.

ummm, prelims are coming up so im a bit nervous for that. But, i guess i'll be fine too.

Most people went to watch Dark Knight. I've seen it twice na so i dont want to watch it again. The rest have pre english so i just went up here to my mom's office to use the internet. hehehe. She's not here pa.

anyway, i had a super fun weekend. Starting on friday. Went to watch the dark knight in Imax with Jeff, Sean, Liam, Tito Dan, Mark, Micah, Maow, Yuna, Gabe, and Dan. It's AMZING in imax! Seriously. And then the next day i watched it with maow, liam, andie, and jairah. So much fun again. :D Links was ok...got to hang out with people. Sunday was good too. Went to 9am ygroups, which i havent done in FOREVER. not kidding. got to talk with Nix and Didi (seperately). Met a missionary too with the missions team :D super fun weekend. I love church.

so now im killing time muna. I dont have to do HW cuz i dont know what to do for it pa. Yey! :P

Chatted with people on YM and stuff. haaaaay. I want to go to heaven. Not die. Just go to heaven. Cuz it's cool there. No schoool. Just praise God and Fellowship forever and ever. Too fun. :))

Listening to daphne loves derby. Not cuz im emo. I just like their songs. It's relaxing. "If i had a second chance, i'd live my life waiting to death." Awwww. I can relate. :P hahaha

I have PE later. Then i have GReG then i get to go home. study study. YM YM. Maybe wrestle with maow a bit. Hahaha. I made his lip bleed two nights ago cuz i was ground and pounding him...like in UFC....not for real ofcourse. But one shot accidentally connected. :)) He's ok naman. He got a chance to beat me up too anyway. I didn't get hit for real tho. hahaha.
